1. Education and Degree Requirements

For Nursing Applicants

You must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an accredited Diploma in Nursing. Along with your degree, you need an active practicing license from your home country’s nursing council (such as TNMC or INC). Saudi authorities will also ask for a recent Certificate of Good Standing to prove your record is completely clear.

For Hospitality Applicants

Luxury hotels and fine dining groups usually look for a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Culinary Arts. Entry-level roles may only require a high school diploma, but having extra certifications, like HACCP food safety training or specialized barista credentials, will give you a huge advantage over other applicants.

2. Work Experience Standards

• Nurses: The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) expects at least 2 years of continuous, verifiable hospital experience after graduation. Employment gaps need clear documentation.

• Hospitality Staff: 5-star hotel chains and high-end restaurants usually ask for 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in 4-star or 5-star service environments.

3. Clearances, Exams, and Verification

Document Verification (DataFlow) - Nurses Only

Before you can step inside a Saudi hospital, your degree, transcripts, license, and work history must pass background checks through DataFlow. They contact your school and previous employers directly to confirm everything is authentic.

Mumaris+ and Prometric Licensing - Nurses Only

Once DataFlow verifies your background, you need to create an account on the Mumaris+ portal run by SCFHS. After your file is approved, you receive an eligibility code to book the Saudi Nursing Licensing Exam (SNLE) at a Prometric test center.

Portfolios & Interviews - Hospitality Only

Hospitality candidates don't need to take a government board exam, but you must speak fluent English. Kitchen staff, bartenders, and supervisors are often asked to show photos or videos of their work during interview rounds.

4. Passport, Medical Tests, and Visas

• Passport: Your passport needs to be valid for at least 6 months from your travel date, with plenty of blank pages left for stamps.

• Medical Fitness (Wafid / GAMCA): Everyone moving to Saudi Arabia on a work visa must pass a medical check at an accredited Wafid clinic. You will be tested for infectious diseases like Tuberculosis, HIV, and Hepatitis.

• Police Clearance: You must provide an official, clean police record from your home country.
